We announce the death of Carla A. McBride of Rumford, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 57. Carla will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Cole and Florence Cole (Thereault); her stepmother Evelyn Cole; and her siblings, Paul W. Cole, Catherine Russell, William J. Cole and Patrick B. Cole.
She is survived by: her husband John W. McBride; her children, Alison M. Butler (John Jr.) of East Providence, Sean W. McBride of Warwick, Bridget M. Quell (Jonathan) of East Providence, Nicholas J. McBride (Kennedy Ryan) of Pawtucket and Mary M. McBride of East Providence; her grandchildren, Maeve, Jack, Rose, Cecilia, Norah, Clare, Ryann and Bodie; her siblings, Charles P. Cole II of Riverside, Corinne M. O'Donnell of Riverside, Stephen Cole of North Providence, Cherylanne M. Campanini of Johnston and Scott M. Cole of East Providence; and her stepsiblings, William James, Linda Heath, Richard James, Robert James and Betsy Salisbury. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
