He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Smith and Anna Smith (Hoey). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy M. Smith (Ferreira); his son David Smith (Amy) of Rehoboth; his grandson Gavin Smith; and his siblings, Michael Smith of Florida, Cindy Berthiaume of Riverside, Barbara Saleeba of Seekonk, Margaret Watson of Riverside, Carol Sampson of Riverside, Marybeth Marinelli of Seekonk and Kathleen Bourque of Seekonk.
