She was predeceased by : her husband Arthur E. Nelson; her parents, George W. Berwick and Mildred S. Berwick (Goodrich); her brothers, Earl L. Berwick, Sr. and Clinton L. Berwick; and her niece Joan L. Nelson.

She is survived by : her daughters, Betty J. Nelson of East Providence, Joyce A. Nelson of Rumford, Marilyn J. Nelson of Rumford and Nancy J. Nelson (Brad J. Dias) of Rumford. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
