She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Houston and Rose Houston (O'Neill); her son Robert "Bobby" Kaveny, Jr.; and her son-in-law Brian Blanchette. She is survived by: her children, Carol Blanchette, Susan Lynn (Gary), Rosemary Stein (James) and Kevin Kaveny; her grandchildren, Jack Blanchette (Adriana), Geoffrey Blanchette, Dr. Robert Lynn, Patrick Lynn, Connor Lynn, Matthew Stein (Amy), Katherine Folly (Nick) and Timothy Stein; and her great grandchildren, Josephine, Lilian Blanchette, Mason, Olivia Stein and Zaia Folly.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Manning-Heffern-O'Neill Funeral Home (220 Cottage St., Pawtucket, RI 02860). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (984 Taunton Ave, Seekonk, MA 02771). A burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mount Saint Mary Cemetery (661 Prospect St, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to VNA Hospice of Rhode Island, in Therese's memory, would be greatly appreciated by her family.
