He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann M. Lovewell; his parents, Robert P. Gering of Rehoboth, MA and Florence M. Gering (Hitte); his daughters, Alyssa Gering and Kayla Gering of Texas; his stepsons, Wesley D. Lovewell (Melinda) of Ashaway, Robert E. Lovewell of Saunderstown and William S. Lovewell of Saunderstown; and his siblings, Darlene Chatell (Ronald) of Coventry and David Gering of Rehoboth, MA.. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Iannotti Funeral Home (2000 Nooseneck Hill Rd, Coventry, RI 02816). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
