He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Lakshmi-Perumallu Tipirneni and Prabhavathi Tipirneni; and his siblings-in-law, Rick Nabb and Gail Nabb. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Dr. Kiranya Arnold (Mark Arnold), Dr. Asha Tipirneni (Michael Sauer) and Anil Tipirneni (Karina); his granddaughters, Sydney and Serafina; his sister Dr. Lalitha Rayan; his niece Dr. Sonya Rayan; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Luth (Fred), Ellen Szymanski (Jim), Gina Nabb, Kevin Nabb and Robert Nabb (Judy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
