David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew David will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Withers and Walter Withers; and his wife Jeanne C. Withers. He is survived by: his children, Scott Withers (Olga Withers) and Barbara Venditto-Riseman (Steven Riseman); and his grandchildren, Bobby Venditto (Keryn Venditto), Marissa Davison (Dan Davison) and Eric Venditto (Hayley Venditto). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Church (765 Commonwealth Ave, Warwick, RI 02886). The military honors will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery (301 S County Trail, Exeter, RI 02822).
