He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dorothy Hernandez and James "Buddy" Henson, Jr. (Don). He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his brothers, Ronald "Ronnie" Henson, Sr. and Kenneth "Kenny" Guidry (Vicki); his children, Dona Mendoza (Sean) and David "Dave" Henson (Nikki); his grandchildren, Chantel Aguirre (Luis), Cari Pennoyer (Raymond), Nicole Archibald (Marc) and Cassy Wooldridge (Anthony); his great grandchildren, Hunter and Emma; and his sister-in-law Alva Henson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Don's memory to the Gary Sinise Foundation, a charity that honors and supports U.S. military veterans, first responders, and their families, would be greatly appreciated.
