He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin J. Smith and Christina Smith (Caparrelli) of Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Smith (Morley) of North Scituate, RI; his daughter Raina C. Smith of Cranston, RI.; and his siblings, Loretta E. Grist (Smith) of North Scituate, Donna M. Fountaine (Smith) of Johnston and Dennis (Meredith L.).
