She was predeceased by : her husband Marcel A. Richard; her parents, Stefan Gawek and Josephine Gawek (Karzeniowska); and her brother Charles Gawek. She is survived by : her children, Ivette Fantasia (Thomas) and David Richard (Terri); her grandchildren, David Richard Jr. (Jen), Katherine Fantasia, Matthew Fantasia, Zachary Fantasia, Felicity Fantasia and Luke Fantasia; and her great grandchild Brayden Richard.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (144 Danielson Pike, Scituate, RI 02857).

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to The Audubon Society of RI, 12 Sanderson Road, Smithfield, RI or St. Joseph Catholic Church 151 Danielson Pike, Scituate, RI.
