He was predeceased by : his parents, John J. McDevitt and Martha A. McDevitt (Jaswell); and his brothers, Michael and Daniel McDevitt. He is survived by : his wife Linda E. McDevitt (Moore); his children, John J. McDevitt, III of Seekonk, MA, Jennifer Barishian (McDevitt) of Seekonk, MA, Ashley Valentine of North Scituate, Crystal Valentine of North Providence and Holly Kurshner of Johnston; his grandchildren, Brandon, Christian Cardinal, John Michael McDevitt, Savannah Barishian, Jared Barishian, Jayson, Jordan Goddard, Aiden Barishian, Madison Leonard, Meadow McDevitt and Kenneth McDevitt; and his goddaughter Maegen Beckhorn.
