We announce the death of Marion Louise Durkee of Scituate, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 93. Marion will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Marion will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Marion’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther J. Yeaw and Pearlena Yeaw (Adams); her husband Gerald Franklin Durkee, Sr.; and her siblings, Addison Yeaw, Robert Yeaw and Priscilla Gould (Yeaw).
She is survived by: her foster daughter Debra Jackson-Homerston (Paul Homerston); and her nephew Raymond Anthony (Jane Anthony). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
