He was predeceased by : his parents, Alfred Tella and Giuseppina Tella (Russillo); and his brother-in-law William Carcieri Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Judith A. Tella (Dejarlais); his children, Nicholas Tella (Rowena), Lisa Coutu (Alan), Gary Tella (Laurie), Robert Tella (Gail) and Alfred Tella (Jennifer); and his sister Lucille Carcieri. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
