It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia G. Parkhurst of Scituate, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 2, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis L. Parkhurst; and her parents, Ralph Harrison and Rose Harrison (Hand). She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Parkhurst (John Miguel) of West Greenwich and Robert Parkhurst (Oscar Caldarone) of Scituate; her grandsons, Thomas F. Garvey (Melissa) of Canterbury, CT and Patrick H. Garvey (Lauren Macari) of Canterbury, CT; her great grandchild Neive Rose Garvey; and her sister Rosemarie Cece of Florida.

Please omit flowers. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Audubon Society of RI, Volunteer Services for Animals.

“It's sad to know that our lovely neighbor is no longer here. I have many wonderful memories of Mrs. Parkhurst when growing up with Carolyn and Bobby. We had many adventures playing in the surrounding woods and I'm grateful that both our mothers let us have so much free rein. Mrs. Parkhurst was always good to me and welcomed me in her home and tried to protect me from her Siamese cats, which I appreciated! The world is not the same now. My deep sympathy goes out to Carolyn, Bobby and family.”
