He was predeceased by: his wife Judith Mitchell (Naughton); his children, Jeremy Mitchell and Julia; the mother of his child Patricia; his son Jonathan (Helen); his grandchildren, Brian (Emma) and Vivian; his daughter Naomi Cummings (Paul); his grandson Kevin; his daughter Fiona McDevitt-Freeley (Dustin); and his grandchild Quinn.
He is survived by: his foster son Matthew Brown (Maria). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Winfield & Sons Funeral Home (571 W Greenville Rd, Scituate, RI 02857).
