He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Charles Berg and Virginia Berg (Christman); his wife Sandra; and his brothers, Charles and Tom.
He is survived by: his brothers, Robert Berg (Cecelia) of Port St and Dr. William Berg (Linda) of Monterey, Calif.; his children, David Berg Jr. (Connie) of Hilton Head, S. C., William Berg (Tamara) of South Kingstown, Christian Berg (Lindell) of Tamaqua, Susan Morinville of Cumberland and Melissa DiFilippo of Inverness, Fla.; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Mansour (Mike), Sarah Wood, Toby Berg (Olivia), Timothy Berg, Shaina Fiorelli (Azrael), Samantha Jenks (Bill) and Seth Morinville. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
