In the sacred silence of farewell, Dorothy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Dorothy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel T. McCormick and Eunice W. McCormick (Clark); and her brother Daniel C. McCormick. She is survived by: her husband James P. Tedeschi; her son Timothy Tedeschi of Greenville; and her brothers, David McCormick (Jane) of Hull, MA, Donald McCormick (Dianne) of Glocester and Duane McCormick (Michele) of Colchester, CT. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home (2 Church St, Greenville, RI 02828). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Church (622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman Street, Unit 306, Providence, RI 02906 Alzheimer's Association.
