Edgar A. Fontaine Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edgar A. Fontaine of Smithfield, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Fontaine (Beland) and Aurelien Fontaine; his siblings, Lorraine, Jeanne, Richard, Bobby, Jerry and Paul; and his friends, Ralph, Danny, Alan and Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Susie Fontaine (Gulowacz); his children, Paul (Sheryl) and Tina Egan (David, Sr); his stepchildren, Jennifer Lombardo (David, Sr) and Jeffrey Whitecross (Kaitlin); his grandchildren, Andrew, Britney, David, Lauren, Deven, Katelin, David, Jr., Talia, Natalie and Owen; his siblings, Patricia Deslauriers and Donald (Karen); and his sisters-in-law, Linda, Sharon and Charlotte. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
