He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra M. Varin (Jez); his parents, Ernest Varin and Gaetana Varin (Merola); and his daughter Denise Faccenda. He is survived by: his sons, Edmund A. Varin, Jr. (Brenda) of Harrisville, RI and Dennis Varin (Donna) of Catawba, NC.; his siblings, Carmen "Rick" Varin, MD of Kilgore, TX and Joseph Varin of Smithfield; his close friend Cecile Paquette; and his daughter Debra Picozzi.
