Elaine M. (DaCosta) Russo Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine M. (DaCosta) Russo of Smithfield, Rhode Island, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 74. Though Elaine M. may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elaine M. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabriel DaCosta and Marie DaCosta (Clerc). She is survived by: her husband David Russo; her children, Anthony Russo (Jill Atherton) of Beverly, MA and Nicole Carlino (Sean) of East Greenwich; her grandchildren, Michael Russo and Sofia Carlino; her siblings, Stephen DaCosta (Elsie) of Braintree, MA and Thomas DaCosta; her friend Janice O'Connell; and her pet Bugsie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
