He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Ziegler and Anna Ziegler (Berger). He is survived by: his wife Bernadette M. Ziegler (Alves); his children, Ferdinand "Andy" Ziegler (Danielle) of Burrillville, Michael Ziegler (Mary) of Burrillville and Shaina Furia (Michael) of Glocester; his grandchildren, Brendan, Hailey, Arianna, Ava, Lily, Benicio and Camille; and his sisters, Christel Precourt of Norton, MA, Helga Donovan of Glocester, RI and Edith Trafford of Fort Myers, FL..
