With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Isabelle E. McElroy (Smithfield, Rhode Island), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Isabelle left this world on May 4, 2026 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John H. "Jack" McElroy; her parents, Matthew McCormick and Mary McCormick (Phillips); and her brothers, Edward McCormick (Barbara) and William McCormick (Claire).
She is survived by: her daughters, Anne-Marie Magao (Bruce Lynde) and Meredith McElroy Grillo (Joseph Grillo); her grandchildren, Candace Rosas (Jonathan Rosas), John and Joseph Grillo; and her great grandchildren, Sophia and Rowan.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Chapel (643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (144 Danielson Pike, Scituate, RI 02857).
