He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John R. Gatto, Sr. and Catherine V. Gatto (Martin); his significant other Carmen Rousseau; his children, Jay Gatto (Kathie Gatto), Craig Gatto (Laurie Gatto) and Nicole Garbutt (Chuck Browning); his grandchildren, Jake Gatto, Dillon Gatto, Kate Gatto, Connor Gatto, Joseph Garbutt, Isabella Garbutt, Gabriella Garbutt and Bennett Gatto; and the mother of his children Annette Cerrone. He was also cherished by child who considered his many cousins his siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Anderson Winfield Funeral Home (2 Church St, Greenville, RI 02828).
