It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leona M. Joyce of Smithfield, Rhode Island, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Patrick Joyce; her parents, David Ring and Geraldine Ring (Barrett); and her siblings, Buddy Ring, Teddy Ring, Gerry Conley (Twinkie), Janet Joyce and Elizabeth Manning.

She is survived by : her son Joseph Joyce (Isabel) of Smithfield; her grandchildren, Shannon and Jillian Joyce; her sister Dorothy Clarke; and her siblings-in-law, William Joyce (Sandy), Sandy Mackey (George) and Kathleen O'Sullivan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
