She is survived by: her brothers, Gerald "Bobby" and William "Billy" Carlton; her children, Leah Paterson-Smith, Tracey Paterson-Ovian (Craig) and Walter R. Paterson; and her grandchildren, Alexandra J. Iannitelli (Ted), Travis L. Smith, Farah R. Smith (Michael) and Benjamin R. Iannitelli. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
