He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thalmann and Clare Thalmann (Masterson); and his brother Joseph Thalmann. He is survived by: his wife Marceline A. Thalmann (Bernier); his children, Brian P. Thalmann of Smithfield, Thomas P. Thalmann of South Kingstown and Tracy A. Medeiros (James) of East Greenwich; his grandchildren, Erica, Kendra, Julia, Catherine, Paul, Allison, Tanner and Madeline; his great grandchildren, Isla, Sutton and Finn; and his sister Clare Northrup (Peter) of North Kingstown.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Church (622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that memorial donations be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Philip Church in Greenville.
