He is survived by: his wife Suzanne M. Smith (Paquette); his children, Tracey L. Smith of North Providence, Richard T. Smith Jr. (Rachel-Ann) of North Smithfield and Emily C. Smith (Amy) of Pawtucket; his grandchildren, Grace, Taylor, Isaiah, Amelia, Mary, Catherine, Thomas, John, Theresa, Calesia and Maggie; his siblings-in-law, Kathleen and Kenneth Viveiros; and his close friend Butch.
