It is with sadness that the passing of Stanley B. Hopkins (Smithfield, Rhode Island) is shared. Stanley, born on March 17, 1943, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton E. Hopkins and Eleanor Gertrude Hopkins (Bishop); and his siblings, G. Rodney Hopkins, Elwood M. Hopkins, Iris G. Cooke Smith and Beverly I. Guy.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn V. Hopkins (Clarke); his children, Jeffrey B. Hopkins (Deborah Sachs) of Forest Hills, NY and Stephanie K. Hopkins (Dawn Lundy Martin) of Hudson, NY; his sisters, Norma M. Broad, Natalie L. Herb and Susan C. Prime; and his granddaughter Leah Rose Hopkins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Tucker-Quinn Funeral Chapel (643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at the Hopkins Mills Cemetery (33 Rams Tail Rd, Foster, RI 02825).
