He is survived by: his wife Dawn Marie Greene Dornan; his children, Betsy Bauler (Eric), Erin Dornan-Liuzzo (Santo), Dr. Sarah Lavaque, Ryan Dornan (Colleen), Amber Fredette (Nash) and Candace McHugh (Sean); his grandchildren, Taylor Bauler, Gabriel Bauler (Brailee), Abigail Bauler, Reilly Bauler, Amelia Bauler, Eviana Liuzzo, Michaela LaVaque, Brianna Dornan (Reese), Travis Dornan, Adalynn Dornan, Vivianne Dornan, Madison Fredette, Kaleb Fredette, Mackenzie McHugh and Peighton McHugh; and his siblings, Karen Kendig (Jim), Patricia Herbert (Michael) and Daniel Dornan (Rachelle).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church (54 Cedar Swamp Rd, Smithfield, RI 02917). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM.
