She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Mageau (Moran) and Oscar Mageau; her daughter Susan Payte; and her siblings, Harold, John D. Mageau, Rhoda Fisher and Gloria Bingley.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Joe Bingley; her children, Lawrence Payte MSgt and Judith Chappell (Richard "Pogie" Chappell) of East Matunuck, RI; her grandchildren, Kelley Wolf, Emma Geddes, Laura Heffernan, Ruth Chappell Meeks RN (Jason), Meeks M. D. and Thaddeus Chappell (Leita Lord); her siblings, James Mageau of Charlestown, RI, Barbara Burdick of South Kingstown, Patricia Raffin of Granbury Texas and Karen Slaathaug of Boise Idaho; and her husband Arthur K. Payte Jr.. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews.
