He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Lavoie and Fabiola Lavoie; and his siblings, Evelyn Lavoie, Raymond Lavoie and Norman Lavoie.
He is survived by: his nephew Paul N. Lavoie; and his nieces, Paulette Duquette and Annette M. Camara. He is also survived by his family, friends.
