She was predeceased by: her husband Antone J. Arruda; her parents, Marriano Camara and Joanna "Jennie" Camara (Andrade); her son Carlton J. Arruda; and her sisters, Belmira Freitas, Alice Fernandes and Evelyn Souza.

She is survived by: her children, Jean Eaton (Robert) of Glocester, RI, Beth Aguiar (David) of Westport, MA and Antone J. Arruda, Jr. (Yvette) of Westport, MA; her grandchildren, Kyle Arruda, Joshua Aguiar (Jessica), Samuel Aguiar, Carlton Eaton and Cady Theberge (Robert); and her great grandchild Timothy Aguiar. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
