He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph O. "Buddy" Braga and Mary Braga (Costa). He is survived by: his wife Maureen Braga (Costa); and his siblings, Nelson Braga (Kathleen) of Fall, River, Rosemary Arruda (David) of Florida and Bernadette Scarfo (Dominic) of Billerica, MA.. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
