He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick V. Fingliss and Mary Fingliss (Dubienny); and his siblings, Anna Falvey and Joseph P. Fingliss. He is survived by: his spouse Vivianne A. Fingliss (LaBrecque); his sons, Christopher P. Fingliss of Tiverton and Douglas P. Fingliss (Erin McEntee) of Tiverton; and his nieces and nephews, Kevin Falvey, Patrick V. Fingliss, Joseph P. Fingliss, Jr., David Rooney, Deborah Vasconcellos, Colleen Falvey, Jayne Fingliss MacDonald, Mary Fingliss, Lisa Rooney and Allyson LaRue.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pocasset Memorial Funeral Home (462 Main Rd, Tiverton, RI 02878). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association will be appreciated.
