It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Claire L. Wayland (Wakefield, Rhode Island), who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Jack; her parents, Ray Cook and Mary Cook; her children, Mary McMurtery (Hugh), Eileen Wayland, John Wayland (Andrea), Joseph Wayland and Thomas Wayland (Jeanna); her grandchildren, Jack, Bernice, Brady Wayland and Leah McMurtery; and her sisters, Marilynn McConnell and Patricia Nailor. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
