He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. Brassard and Diana Brassard (Berard). He is survived by: his wife Rachel Brassard (Fecteau); his daughter Allison Hughes (Mark) of Cambridge, Mass.; his sister Jeannine Fichter of Colorado; and his grandson Wyatt Hughes.
