It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Matthew Dean Wunsch of Wakefield, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Kimberly Wunsch (Iemma); his stepdaughter Juliet Lenzo; his stepgranddaughter Vera Mae Wunsch; his parents, Wayne Wunsch and Diane Wunsch (Jakober) of Narragansett; his niece Lily Wunsch; his uncle Bob Jakober (Pattie); his cousins, Lee Walker, Jill Carney and David Jakober; and also Hazel. He was also cherished by ses his wife, daughters, and parents, Matt leaves his only brother.

“To the Wunsch family, My husband & I are so sorry for your loss of Matt. We knew his as a talented musician who played with our nephew Ed Fishell. Matt always called me Aunt Carol & I got the biggest kick out of that. He was a very deep, thoughtful & kind young man.Ted & I went to many of their shows & cheered them on! Ed & Matt were amazing together. They bounced off of each other so well. He had so many friends that are going to miss his smile music & kindness. May he RIP Ted & Carol Gillerin”
