He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Alward and Ernice Alward (Martin) of Kingstown; and his sibling Valli Shoup. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Alward (Brisson) of Riverside; his children, Kurt Alward of Fort Worth, TX and Erin Wilcha of Strainfordville, NY; his stepchildren, Robert and Laurie Allen; his grandchildren, Braydn, Hailey Alward, Jace, Justin and Jillian; and his sisters, Tenya Daniels of Riverside and Cheryl Alward of Kingstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
