She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold MacAdam and Geraldine MacAdam (Chaves); her son Joshua R. Johnson; and her siblings, Judy MacAdam and Robert MacAdam.

She is survived by: her husband David "Twigg" Johnson; her daughters, Katelyn Johnson (Jesse Zeiner) and Olivia of Warren; her daughter-in-law Megan Smith of Warren; her siblings, Mary Moore (John) of North Kingstown and William MacAdam of Seekonk; her niece Chrissy Sousa; Holleigh.
