She was predeceased by: her parents, John Almeida and Mary Almeida (Paiva). She is survived by: her children, Julie A. Garcia of Cranston, Frances Munroe (Kenneth) of Chepachet and Paul Garcia (Julie) of Tiverton; and her sister Evelyn Goulart of Warren. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
