He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald Gotjen and Cynthia Gotjen (Tiffany); and his brother John T. Gotjen of Warren. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Gotjen (Manganaro); his daughters, Courtney Gotjen of Warren and Jessica Gotjen-Seth (Elvis) of Cranston; and his siblings, Jeremiah "Jerry" Gotjen of Syracuse, NY and Brenda "Dale" Blaydes of Riverside.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association or Forever Paws Animal Shelter in Fall River, MA where he rescued his beloved cat, Farley.
