She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Vargas and Mary Vargas (Souza); her husband Joseph Motta; and her brother Daniel Vargas of Englewood, FL.. She is survived by: her daughter Valerie Latham (Ross) of Warren, RI; and her siblings, William Vargas of North Providence, RI and Rita Mello of North Providence, RI.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Parish (500 Metacom Ave, Warren, RI 02885). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
