She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph E. Bessette and Alice M. Bessette (McDuff); her siblings, Loretta Gruslin, Rita M. Allen, Eugene J. Bessette and Maurice J. Bessette; and her husband James W. Taylor, Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Maureen A. Taylor (Dexter Strong) of Providence, Kathy L. T. Chianese of Pawtucket and James W. Taylor, III of Riverside; her grandchildren, Angela Chianese of Quincy, Meagan Chianese McGee (Tobin) of East Greenwich, James Strong (Melissa) of Providence and Sarah Strong (Mathew Dionne) of Warwick; her great grandchildren, Mara, Tiffany McGee and Lillian Dionne; and her nieces and nephews, Pat Bessette Basiliere of Cape Coral, Joseph Bessette of Port Charlotte, Daniel Gruslin of Palm Coast, Louis Fazzi of Coventry, Robert Gruslin of East Providence and Shirley Dulude of North Providence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated.
