He was predeceased by: his wife Helen M. Bender (Noonan); his mother Alma C. Bender (Boettger); and his sister Eleanor Bender. He is survived by: his father Phillip H. Bender; his sons, John "Jack" P. Bender (Rosella), Carl F. Bender (Barbara) and Paul R. Bender (Jamie); his grandchildren, Melanie, Patrick, Lindsay, Devin, Kari, Maggie, Gianna and Aidan; and his friend Marlene Morrisse. He is also survived by his parents, Ma & Pa & his sister, Auntie.
