She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel T. McCarthy and Helen M. McCarthy (Graham); and her brothers, Daniel, David and Timothy McCarthy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alexandra Curran (Justin) of Cranston, RI and Alicia Ricard (Bryan) of Warwick, RI; her grandchildren, Cole, James and Caroline Curran; her brothers, Patrick McCarthy (Roberta) of Vero Beach, FL and Thomas McCarthy (Mary) of Coventry, RI; her niece Jennifer McCarthy (Joseph) of Chepachet, RI; and her great-nephews, Zachary and Joshua.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home (1328 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02886). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 8:45 AM at the Barrett (1328 Warwick Ave, Warwick, RI 02886). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Catholic Church (800 Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston, RI 02921).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Cecilia's name to the Hope Alzheimer's Center, 25 Brayton Avenue, Cranston, RI, 02920 would be appreciated.
