She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph and Evelyn (Finnegan). She is survived by : her husband Donald Armstrong; her daughters, Meredith D'Ambra (Michael), Susan Wilks (Shawn) and Beth Armstrong; her grandchildren, Michael (Molly), Joseph, Megan (Grant), Matthew, Donald, Jane and Madeline; her great grandchildren, Bennett Shawn and Michael Cooper; and her sisters, Lois Petruccillo, Elaine Gesualdi, Janice Medynski and Marilyn Armstrong.

A mass of christian burial was held on Saturday, September 23rd 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Kevin Church (333 Sandy Ln, Warwick, RI 02889).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Cheryl's memory to Lifespan Cancer Institute, Development Office, PO Box H, Providence, RI 02901.
