We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2025, at the age of 87, Claire Florence Fortier (Warwick, Rhode Island) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Ayotte and Lillian Ayotte (Isabelle); her son Richard; her husband Joseph "Maurice" Fortier; her siblings, Florence, Eugene (Anne Marie) and Norman Ayotte (Barbara); her nephew Michael; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Bonin and George Charles.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Metivier, Denise Stapleton (Jim) and Janine Philipps; her pets, Piper and Penny; her siblings, Charles Ayotte (Susan), Gerard Ayotte (Lynn), Robert Ayotte (Denise), Alice Matthews, Rita Bonin and Lucille Ayotte; and her sister-in-law Jeanette Charles.
