He was predeceased by: his mother Debra Jackson Fernandez; his grandparents, Edith Roberts, Alex Jackson (Savannah), Barbara G. and Julio Fernandez; his brother Gerald A. Fernandez Jr.; and his aunts, Virginia Fernandez and Christine Vega.
He is survived by: his father Gerald A. Fernandez; his aunts and uncles, Michael, Peter Fernandez, Alex Jackson (Pittsfield), Diane "Dee Dee" Cropper and Julie Ann Fernandez; and his nieces and nephews, Amyer, Romen, Gerald III, Orion, Joscelyn, Mateo and Emory Bodden. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Talent Development Program at The University of Rhode Island, Taft Hall, 9 Lippitt Road, Kingston, RI 02881, in Corey's name.
