It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cynthia L. (Simeone) Smith of Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Smith Jr.; her parents, Luigi Simeone and Mary Simeone (Giarrusso); and her sister Joyce Simeone. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Smith (Ray Lavin) and Joseph Smith (Wendy); her grandchildren, Amanda Reid, Emily Reid, Benjamin Smith, Jacob Smith and Brayden Smith; and her great grandchild Zoey Smith.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home (659 E Greenwich Ave, West Warwick, RI 02893). A prayer was held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
