It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cynthia (Mattiace) Orlando of Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Cynthia departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Cynthia may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Cynthia leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mattiace and Modestina Mattiace (Piccirillo). She is survived by: her daughter Jessica Orlando; her grandchildren, Maranda Orlando, Arianna Rivera, Antonio Joseph Rivera and Sarena Rivera; and her siblings, Elaine Perry (Hal), Mario Mattiace (Mary) and Linda Ritter.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory (1278 Park Ave, Cranston, RI 02910). A Mass was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Church (800 Pippin Orchard Rd, Cranston, RI 02921). A burial was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at the St. Ann Cemetery (73 Church St, Cranston, RI 02920).
